Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines the refund and cancellation terms for payments made to Alta School of Technology, operated by Sunstone Education Technology Pvt. Ltd. By making a payment, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Application / ASAT Exam Fee
The ASAT exam fee of Rs 1,000 is non-refundable.
2. Seat Blocking Fee
Refund eligibility for the seat blocking fee is based on the time elapsed from the date of payment.

3. Semester Fees
Semester fees, if paid, are refundable as per the UGC Refund Policy 2024-25 or any subsequent updates to the same.
4. How to Request a Cancellation / Refund
To initiate a refund, the student must send an email to admissions@altaschool.tech from their registered email ID with the following details:
- Full name and application/enrollment number
- Payment receipt or transaction reference
- Reason for cancellation
- Bank account details (account number, IFSC code, account holder name) for refund credit
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 45 business days from the date of approval.
- Refunds will be credited to the bank account provided by the student. The institution is not responsible for delays or failures caused by incorrect bank details submitted by the student or parent.
- Special consideration requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted within the applicable deadline.
6. Payment Methods
We accept payments via UPI, debit cards, credit cards, net banking, and bank transfers through our authorized payment gateway partners. All transactions are processed securely and encrypted.
